Hyderabad, July 3 (Maxim News): Leader of the Opposition in the Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir today said Congress party’s 4% reservation implemented from. 2004 was giving positive results among Muslim youth in both the Telugu States.
Congratulating Jameel Fatima Zeba, who was selected for IAS in 2018 was the first woman Muslim candidate selected from Telangana State, Ali said the former would be a role model for all Telangana girls to excel in studies, competitive examinations and bag prestigious positions and hoist Telangana flag everywhere. “Every student should have target of vision and commitment to achieve the goal”, he said.
At the felicitation function organized by Madina Educational Society here, Shabbir presented a cheque of Rs one lakh to Miss Zeba on behalf of the society, which promised to give Rs one lakh to candidates, who are selected for IAS, IPS and other Administrative services every year. Stating that the previous Congress government had successfully implemented reservation for the Muslim Minorities under BC-E category, Ali said till date some 30 lakh Muslim youth derived benefits in education and Employment in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Replying to the felicitation, Jameel Fatima Zeba shared her experience to achieve highest goal in her life with a clear vision, dedication and hard work. K.M Arifuddin, Secretary of the Society, Justice Mohammed Ismail, Ahmaddulla, Professor of Law College and Gulam Yazdani, senior advocate also spoke. (Maxim News)
