Bhongir MP Boora Narsaiah Goud said the State government has got an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) even after efforts by some forces to stall the process of Telangana State getting the prestigious institute. He also exuded confidence that Bibinagar would soon emerge as a medical hub.
Following the Centres’ decision to set up AIIMS on the premises of NIMS here, Goud along with MLC Alimineti Krishna Reddy spoke to the media at NIMS hospital in Bibinagar. Earlier in the day, the MP called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad and expressed his gratitude for choosing the premises of NIMS to house AIIMS.
