The Congress on Sunday suspended arrested Kerala legislator M. Vincent from the post of party secretary, a day after he was arrested on charges of sexual harassment and stalking of a 51-year-old woman who attempted suicide.
Addressing reporters here, state Congress president M.M. Hassan said the party taking cognisance of the nature of the complaint against Vincent, decided to suspend him from the post of secretary of the party.
However, Hassan said the antecedents of the complainant are being questioned by her own sister.
