The Congress today welcomed the judgement of the Supreme Court on the triple talaq issue.
Speaking about the apex court judgement, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said, ”We hail the judgement. It protects personal laws and at the same time deprecates the practice of Triple Talaq.
“Welcoming the decision, AICC spokesperson Manish Tewari said, ”We welcome the verdict of Supreme Court striking down Triple Talaq. It is a constructive and progressive decision that must be welcomed by all right thinkers.
