Hyderabad, Aug.7 (Maxim News): Defence Minister Niramala Sitaraman today reacted to IT Minister KT Rama Rao’a appeal and displeasure on land transfer for development works in Hyderabad.

Niramala said that our officials will work the details together for finalization. Her response assumes significance as KTR had time and again appealed to the Centre for defence land transfer. On Monday he expressed a sort of displeasure for inordinate delay in handing over 160 acres defence land for building two skyways in the city of Hyderabad. Reacting swiftly to KTR’s tweet, Sitaraman retweeted that the Centre has no hesitations. The issue being looked into by our officials and will work out for finalisation she said.

On this KT Rama Rao retweeted extending thanks to Niramala Sitaraman. I look forward to an expeditious resolution in the interest of people of Hyderabad.

The state government plans to make use of Defence Ministry land and give the Centre other land with equal worth for development works in the city. KTR earlier urged the Defence Ministry to apply same formula of giving land in a swapping mode with other states like Karnataka for taking up development works. (Maxim News)
