Dy GOC of TASA Reviews Performance of schools in cantonment

Secunderabad, Aug 18 (Maxim News): Brigadier MD Upadhyay, Deputy General Officer Commanding (Dy GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), President Cantonment Board is also the Chairman of Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) reviewed the performance of Schools in Secunderabad Cantonment yesterday.

He took stock of the performance of the students in Board Exams, state of teachers, infrastructure needs and reviewed the budget at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tirumalagiri (KVT).

The VMC meeting was attended by constituent members who included eminent scholars, artists, teachers, parent members, doctors, engineers and Principals. The Chairman complimented for an excellent performance on Annual Day Celebrations which was a display of varied talent amongst the children while showcasing the rich & varied cultural heritage of our country.

He appreciated the KVT School Principal and staff for excellent results of Class X and Class XII Board exams wherein 100% children have passed while 60 students obtained 10/10 CGPA in CIass X. Being with nature, involvement in outdoor activities and extra co-curricular activities will divert the children from undesirable activities. He cautioned the staff to observe the erratic behavior amongst the students and inform the Principal or Parents of any changing patterns. The Chairman interacted with the students separately inquiring of their problems and suggestions. (Maxim News)
