Elected political members of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board, affiliated to the ruling TRS, are all for a secretariat at the Bison Polo Ground.
Sharing details of likely benefits to the population living in cantonment, board’s Vice-President J. Ramakrishna, who represents ward 5, said the area’s civil infrastructure would greatly improve if the secretariat came up there.
“There will be better roads, water, and power supply lines, and the cantonment’s solid waste management issues will be solved.
We would also earn through service charges provided to the Secretariat,” he said. Besides the Secretariat, two sky-ways part of the SRDP, would also go through the cantonment.
