Deputy CM (Education) Kadiam Srihari expressed concern over managements of engineering colleges failing to abide by a decision against hiking fees. “This is absolutely sheer violation of norms as the colleges moved courts to hike fees in the middle of academic year”, he charged.
Speaking at a program of School Leaders of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) JNTU here, Srihari advised the engineering colleges to stop such malpractices. “These colleges have agreed to a decision of Fees Control Committee that they will not hike the fees”, he said. He extended all support to KGBVs and asked the staff to excel with persistent efforts for standards.
