Fake Educational Certificate Racket Busted- One Held – Seized Fake Educational Certificates Of Karnataka State Open University  

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone team on August 4 apprehended one person by name B. Laxmi Narayana, @ Raj Kumar S/o B.Nageshwar Rao, aged 40 yrs, Occ: Running Computer Training Institute on the name of “TISHT” #12-13-1260, 2nd  Floor, Above Meera Medical Hall, Beside Andhra bank, Street No.7, Tarnaka, Hyderabad, R/o H.No.12-1-193/A, Kummar wadi, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad.

Who indulging in preparing fake Educational certificates of Degree & P.G. on the name of Karnataka State Open University and providing them to the needy customers by collecting huge money from them at his Computer Training Institute “TISHT” #12-13-1260, 2nd Floor, Above Meera Medical Hall, Beside Andhra bank, Street No.7, Tarnaka, Hyderabad.  Seized (20) Fake Educational certificates of Karnataka State Open University and (1) Cell phone from his possession.

MODUS OPERNIDI:      The accused B. Laxmi Narayana is native of Hyderabad. In the year 1998 he completed his B.A. In the year 2001 he opened a computer training institute on the name of “TISHT”, (Tara Institute of Software and Hardware Technology), #12-13-1260, Beside Andhra bank, Tarnaka, Hyderabad. But from past three years he did not get any profits and he is facing financial problems. At the same time in the year 2015 he came into contact with one person by name M.Satyanarayana, Chairman of “HIWORTH EDUCATIONS”, #12-13-677/65, 1st Floor, Road No.1, Plot No.188, Kimtee Colony, Tarnaka, Hyderabad, who is issuing Fake Educational Certificates of Degree & Post Graduation to the needy customers on the name of “Karnataka State Open University” within 45 days by charging huge money from them. As such he hatched a plan to supply Fake Educational Certificates on the name Karnataka State Open University to the needy customers with the help of M.Satyanarayana.

He informed the same to M.Satyanarayan. He agreed with him on commission basis to supply fake educational certificates to him.   He used to collect the data of the students who needs Educational certificates and used to give the candidate details i.e. SSC & Intermediate Memo Xerox copies, Photos etc to M.Satyanarayana by hand. After preparation of Fake certificates i.e. Degree & Post Graduation he used to send the same to him. Later he will give the fake certificates to needy customers by charging of Rs.30,000/- for Degree i.e. B.Com, B.Tech Certificates and Rs.40,000/- for Post Graduation i.e. M.B.A., M.A. certificates etc. So far he sold fake educational certificates nearly 50-80 persons. In this case the accused M.Satyanarayana is at large.

The accused along with seized property was handed over to SHO, OU Sity PS, for taking further necessary action.
The arrest was made under the supervision of B.Limba Reddy, Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by L.Raja Venkat Reddy, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SI’s M.Prabhakar Reddy, P.Mallikarjun, L.Bhaskar Reddy and the staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad, a communiqué said here today.
