Gold seized at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Maxim News): Based on profiling of the passengers the Customs Officers of the Air Intelligence Unit, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, seized three gold bars of foreign origin, totally weighing 349.500 gms, valued at Rs. 10,64,227 I- from a passenger arrived from Muscat to Hyderabad, by Oman Air Lines flight WY 239.

The seizure was affected here on Saturday at 05.00 hours at RGIA, Shamshabad. The passenger concealed three gold bars on body under the feet wrapped with black coloured adhesive tape and covered with socks and shoes.

Further, investigations are under way. (Maxim News)
