Hyderabad Pharma City creates 4.2 lakh jobs

The upcoming Hyderabad Pharma City (HPC) that will be developed in 19,333 acres will be the most modern state-of-the-art pharmaceuticals industrial park in the world.

The cluster will ensure that the country becomes competitive and sets a benchmark globally. This will be largest integrated industrial cluster for pharmaceuticals anywhere in the world, Telangana Industries minister K T Rama Rao said here on Tuesday.

The pharma cluster which has received an in-principle National Investment and Manufacturing Zones (NIMZ) status, will attract an investment of Rs 64,000 crore and help achieve exports of Rs 58,000 crore (from the current Rs 20,000 crore) once completed.
