Hyderabad, Dec 21(Maxim News): Lake Police Officials rescued two persons i.e., one male & one female persons from committing suicide by jumping into Husain Sagar Lake near Lepakshi and children’s park. The details of the above persons are as below
- Raziya sultana @ Munni w/o Sri. Md. Yakoob, age:- 30 years, Occ:- Housewife, r/o:- Jamiya masjid, near kharkana, secunderabad.
- N. Leveen shinde s/o Late. Sri. Narayan shinde, age:- 39 years, r/o:- flat no:- 103, 1st floor, Sagar mansion apartments, backside Manjor apartments, chappal bazar, hyderabad.
On causing enquiry it came to know that the victim is a married person, blessed with two children and leading conjugal life happily. the victim also revealed that her husband suspects her character and quarrels regularly with the victim. Asusually last night victim’s husband went to home and started quarrelling with the victim & abused her in a most filthy language. She unable to bare the torture and decided to end her life and came to upper tankbund with the intension to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain sagar lake water. Inspector Lake, Smt. K. Sreedevi counselled Victim and her husband after counselling they both were sent to Barosa centre for further counselling.
On enquiry with the second victim Sri. Leveen Shinde. It came to know that he performed settled marriage in the year 2014. The victim is a psychiatric patient, by knowing this his wife left him six months ago and staying with her parents. Since then the victim is undergoing Psychiatric treatment at “Srikar Upakr” centre. Today in the afternoon hours the victim escaped from his house and came to tankbund to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain sagar lake water. After counselling he was sent to Barosa counselling centre for further counselling.
Lake Police played a vital role in saving the above two persons spontaneously without giving any scope for untoward incidents for which they could saved the lives of people. The above two incidents were occurred on 1-/20-12-2016. Smt. K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station counselled them promptly they were handed over to their relatives.
The Blue Colts of Lake PS viz., Sri. Mukesh singh, PC 6850, Sri. GSY. Ashok kumar, Sri. Abdul Rasheed, Sri. D. Ravi, HG 2315 and Sri. B. Maninder naik, HG 8676, have tactfully identified the above persons in a suspicious manner and rescued them from committing suicide under the close supervision of Smt. K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station.
