NCC Air Wing Inter Group Competition Held at Warangal

Secunderabad, Sept 20 (Maxim News): Air Commodore P Maheshwar, Deputy Director General (DDG) Andhra Pradesh & Telangana State visited Warangal on 19th & 20th Sep 2017 to witness Inter Group Air Wing Competition for All Air Units of the Directorate being conducted for the first time at Mamnoor Airfield, Warangal.

On 19th Sep 2017, the DDG witnessed Static Air Model Display, ongoing Tent Pitching, Line Area Competition, Remote Control Flying, Skeet Shooting and Zen Air Flying at Mamnoor Air Field. He congratulated the Air Force Officers, the Training Staff and the cadets for their active participation in the successful conduct of Inter Group Competition (IGC) of nine Groups of AP & Telangana States for selection of cadets for All India Vayu Sainik Camp (VSC) to be held at Jodhpur with effect from 23 Oct 2017.

On 20th Sep 2017, the DDG visited Combined Annual Training Camp-VI at Warangal Institute of Medical Sciences, Warangal which is being conducted by 11 (T) Battalion. He subsequently addressed the cadets and exhorted them to work hard to achieve their goals. He further added that cadets must come forward and take up career in the Armed Forces as Officers. Subsequently he gave away prizes to the winners of Inter Group Competition followed by interaction with the Officers, Staff and cadets of Air Squadrons. He applauded the cadets for their undaunted effort in making the IGC VSC a successful event. (Maxim News)
