Veteran Politician and erstwhile member of Janata Parivar Rambhau Pothdar passed away due to age related illness in a hospital here today.
The former Karnataka Minister who had served as Cooperative Minister under late Chief Minister Ramakrishna Hegde was later the Chairman of the Legislative Council during his political career.
He was 87 and is survived by his wife and son.
Born in 1923, Mr Pothdar graduated from Ferguson college at Pune as a literature student and was a fan of noted Marathi dramatist Gadakari.
