Floral tributes were paid to former Tamil Nadu Chief Ministerand Dravidian stalwart C N Annadurai on the occasion of his 109th birth anniversaryhere today.
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam,Ministers and MLAs paid rich tributes to a decorated portrait of the late leader. They also garlanded the statute of Anna on the arterial Anna Salai.
‘Sidelined’ AIADMK Amma Deputy General Secretary T T V Dhinakaran, who hasvowed to bring down the Palaniswami government in protest against the merger ofthe warring factions, also garlanded the statue and paid tributes.
MGR-Amma Forum leader and late Chief Minister J Jayalalitha’s niece Deepaalso paid her tributes. Leaders of various political parties, including DMK Working President M K Stalin,DMDK Founder Vijayakanth also paid floral tributes and garlanded the statue of Anna across the state.
