The Raj Bhavan spread the Yuletide cheer with decked-up Christmas tree

Hyderabad, Dec 22(Maxim News): The Christmas Carols Programme held at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan on the eve of the Christmas and the New Year saw Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Sri ESL Narasrimhan besides other dignitaries.

They are all treated with music by various choir groups drawn from the families of the officers and other staff members of the Governor’s Secretariat.

Delivering the Christmas message, Hon’ble Governor said “Jesus Christ taught us peace, harmony and universal brotherhood and that is what all of us need to observe apart from singing about the praise of Lord. Governor has appreciated the children who sang the carols praising the Christ and ushering
the festivities relating to Christmas and New Year. He said the Christmas evening in the Rajbhavan should become a permanent feature in future.

Earlier, to mark the event the Governor cut the cake with all the family members of the Raj Bhavan officials wishing merry Christmas.

Those who greeted the function included Sri AK Mahanthy and Sri APVN Sarma, the Advisors to the Governor, Principal Secretary Harpreet Singh, Joint Secretary Sri Patnala Basanth Kumar and others.
