TRS Govt Failed To Curb Crime In State: BJP

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (Maxim News) Strongly condemning the girl trafficking incident reported in temple town of Yadagirigutta, Telangana BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy said such incidents in a civilised society is shameful.

Speaking to media at party office here, Kishan Reddy said it was a shameful act that minor girls aged between 4 and 11 years are being kidnapped from different places in the State and sold to prostitute houses after giving hormone injections to hit early puberty. The intensity of flesh trade in Yadagirigutta was such that bunkers were set up to keep kidnapped minor girls, he wondered and demanded the government to file cases under Nirbhaya Act against those who involved in such heinous act.

Kidpanning of minor girls and running brothel houses in Yadagirigutta, which is known as second Tirupati in Telangana state, is condemnable and it was a shameful act in a civilised society, Reddy said. “The State government has failed to take action to control the kidnapping incidents in the State”. He alleged that kidnapping incidents have been increased in the State due to ineffective measures of the government. The BJP leader ridiculed the claims of TRS government that crime rate in the State has come down.

Demanding stern action against the persons involved in such crime, he said either the Home Minister or DGP should convey a meeting with mahila wings of all political parties to discuss on this issue, including missing girls in the state as the government has failed to trace hundreds of missing girls in the State.(Maxim News)
