Two ganja peddlers arrested in Uppal, 37Kgs Seized from their possession

Hyderabad: The Uppal patrolling police nabbed two ganja peddlers and seized 37kg ganja from their possession.

The accused were identified as Pittala Krupendar, 27, a car driver of Mudiraj community residing at Suryanagar, Alwal, Secunderabad and native of Gowridevipally village under Kandur mandal of Mahbubnagar district and Doola Srikanth, 20, an SC Madiga Suryanagar, Alwal and a native of Laknaram village under Telkapally mandal of Nagarkurnool.

Uppal police said Patrol party sub-inspector K Swamy on Sunday evening noticed an autorickshaw at Devender Nagar and stopped the auto and accosted the accused. They were carrying five backpacks in the auto containing ganja. The SI seized 20 packets of ganja weighing 37kg from them.

The arrests were made under the supervision of G. Sundeep, ACP, Malkajgiri division, K.Narsing Rao, Inspector, Uppal P.S by K.Swamy SI and staff of Uppal Police Station.
