Waqf Board had set up 3 special teams for the collection of rents of Waqf properties and Waqf fund. Waqf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem reviewed collection of rents along with the officials.
He expressed anger over lackadaisical approach in the collection of rents and Waqf funds and directed that all the arrears must be collected by the end of the current financial year. He directed Chief Executive Officer Mannan Farooqui to form special teams. 15 employees will be included in 3 teams of 5 each.
It is said that most of the Waqf institutions are not paying Waqf fund regularly in Hyderabad and Rangareddy and a large number of rents are pending.
