Women Facing Hardships Under KCR Rule: Uttam

Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Maxim News): TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that the women were facing lot of injustices in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s four and half years rule. There were no women in KCR’s Cabinet and no women MLC in Legislative Council too, Uttam pointed out and said that Akula Lalitha was an MLC from Congress party.

Addressing interaction session of Self Help Group (SHG) with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi here on Monday at Classic Convention at Shamshabad, Uttam said that the 70 lakh women of SHGs were facing injustice in the state. Chief Minister was neglecting the SHGs formed by the Congress party, he claimed and called upon the Self Help Group women to show their strength in the coming elections.

Lashing out at KCR, Uttam said that the chief minister was not implementing the pension scheme and bearing interest of bank loans of 70 lakh members of 6 lakh SHGs existed in the state. He hoped the Congress party will come to power in the coming elections and the party will implement all facilities to women. He assured that the Congress party will Rs.1 lakh grant to every SHG. He ensured that they will make the banks to give Rs.10 lakh loan to every SHG and bear the interest of them.

He made it clear that they will revive the Abhaya Hastam scheme immediately after coming to power. The pension will be given Rs.1000 and Rs.5 lakh insurance scheme will be implemented to the women of SHGs. He said that Rs.75,00 will be given as salary to Bheema Mitra, Village Organisation Assistants per month. He alleged that all sections of the people were facing injustice in KCR rule. (Maxim News)
