Amit Shah Criticised Telangana Govt Is Afraid Of Official Celebration Of Liberation Day

Bidar/Hyderabad, March 26 (Maxim News):  Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticised the Telangana government saying that it is afraid to officially celebrate Liberation Day.

Amit Shah made these comments at a public meeting in Karnataka.  He said that Telangana Liberation Day was officially organised last year under the auspices of the Central government.  It has been announced that this time too it will be held officially.  He said that many people sacrificed their lives for the liberation and independence of Hyderabad.  Without Sardar Patel, Hyderabad would not have got independence.

He said that even Bidar would not have got independence.  Amit Shah praised the sacrifices of Garota villagers. He expressed grief that the brutal Nizam’s army killed the villagers of Garota for hoisting the 2.5 feet high tricolor flag.  A memorial to those immortal heroes was built in the same village.  It is said that hundreds of people were killed just for hoisting the tricolour flag.

He said that it is a matter of pride for us to hoist the 103 feet high tricolor flag on the same ground.  This will not escape anyone’s attention.  He said that a statue of Sardar Patel, the first Home Minister of our Country was erected to mark the role he played in ousting the Nizam ruler from Hyderabad.  Amit Shah said that Bidar has become an integral part of India because of his role.  (Maxim News)
