List of Bank Holidays in July: Reduced Saturday Availability

As July approaches, it’s important to be aware of the bank holiday schedule. Out of the remaining three Saturdays in the month, only one will be operational for banking services.

If you have any pending bank work that needs to be settled on a Saturday due to office reasons, make sure to verify that it falls on a non-holiday Saturday to ensure timely completion.

It’s worth noting that banks across the country remain closed on Sundays and on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Notably, the fifth Saturday of July, falling on the 29th, coincides with a major festival.

Bank Closure on Saturday

Banks will remain closed on the fourth Saturday of the month, which is July 22.

Therefore, if you have any banking tasks scheduled for a Saturday, ensure they are completed on the coming Saturday, July 15.

Bank Closures in Various States on July 29

Several states will observe a bank holiday on July 29 due to Muharram (Tazia).

Banks will remain closed in Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, New Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

However, it’s important to note that you can still perform financial and non-financial transactions through banking channels like net banking, mobile banking, and WhatsApp banking, even when the branch is closed.
