Revanth To Woo Global Investors, First Foreign Trip After Becoming CM

Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): The state government is ready to bring investments to Telangana. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will be going to the World economic forum summit in Davos, Switzerland for the first time as Telangana chief Minister between January 14 to 19.

Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu will also be present along with him. The summit is attended not only by the central government but also by Chief Ministers, ministers and officials from many states. This will be officially announced soon that many people from the state will attend, including the Chief Minister.

According to the draft schedule, the team led by the Chief Minister will leave in the early morning of January 15 and return on January 18. They will hold talks with representatives of foreign companies to bring investments to Telangana in the four-day talks. Last year also, a team led by the then IT Minister KTR visited the tour which was held in the third week of January. About Rs. 21 thousand crores investments attracted KTR at that time.

A team led by the Revanth Reddy will hold discussions to enable foreign companies to set up industrial units in Telangana and make investments. This time the theme chosen for the Davos summit. After an in-depth study of the items on the agenda, there is an opportunity to take the initiative to set up new units in Telangana by explaining to the representatives of the respective companies the concessions and facilities to be provided by the State government to encourage foreign industries. The Congress government will work towards providing employment opportunities to the unemployed by explaining the policies followed in the IT, pharma, bio, aerospace, manufacturing and service sectors, the  priority given to foreign investments etc. and contributing to the economy of the state.
