Telangana Govt Declares Bakrid Holiday On June 17

Hyderabad, June 8 (Maxim News): The Telangana government headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cleared all confusion regarding the public holidays for upcoming Muslim festivals

In an official announcement, the government declared holidays for both Bakrid and Eid-e-Ghadir.  Bakrid, also known as Eid al-Adha, will be celebrated on Monday, June 17.  Eid-e-Ghadir, another important Islamic festival falls on June 25.  The government has also declared this day a public holiday.
