Bank Holidays In July 2024, Complete List Here
New Delhi: Bank Holidays in July 2024 According to the 2024 bank holiday calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks across India will observe 12 holidays in July. These holidays encompass regional holidays, state-specific holidays, as well as the usual second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. Despite the closure on these specific days, customers can still access banking services via net banking, ATMs, mobile applications, and bank websites.

In June, banks were closed for 10 days due to holidays like Bakrid, Maharana Pratap Jayanti, and the usual weekend breaks. The RBI releases an official list of bank holidays each month. Customers should check this list to avoid unnecessary trips to the bank. The RBI classifies holidays into three categories: Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, Banks’ Closing of Accounts Holidays, and Holidays Under the Negotiable Instruments Act.

- Tuesday, 9 July 2024: Drukpa Tshe-zi (Sikkim)
- Saturday, 13 July 2024: Second Saturday of the month (All States)
- Sunday, 14 July 2024: Weekend (All States)
- Tuesday, 16 July 2024: Harela (Uttarakhand)
- Wednesday, 17 July 2024: Muharram/Ashoora/U Tirot Sing Day (West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura)

- Saturday, 27 July 2024: Fourth Saturday of the month (All States)
