CM Revanth Reddy Meets Outgoing Governor CP Radhakrishnan

CM Revanth Reddy | Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan.

Following a recent order from the President, CP Radhakrishnan has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra and will assume office soon.

Jishnu Dev Varma has been named the new Governor of Telangana and will take his oath in the next two days.

In light of these changes, Revanth Reddy met with the outgoing Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Following their meeting, they proceeded to the assembly meetings.

Jishnu Dev Varma

Jishnu Dev Varma (born 15 August 1957), is an Indian politician serving as the 3rd and current Governor of Telangana, he is from Tripura.

He previously served as the 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Tripura from 2018 to 2023.

Jishnu Dev Varma was elected from the Charilam constituency in Tripura Legislative Assembly Assembly From 2018 till 2023. He is also President of the Badminton Association of India.

In the 2023 assembly elections, he lost to his rival from the Tipra Motha Party Subodh Deb Barma in the Charilam constituency.

Jishnu Dev Varma has been appointed as Governor of Telangana by President Droupadi Murmu on 27 July 2024.
