HYDRA Notices to Durgam Pond Buildings: Residents on High Alert
HYDRA | Hyderabad, August 29: The threat of demolition hangs over 204 buildings near Durgam Cheruvu Lake in Hyderabad, as the GHMC issued notices to the property owners.
The move was in response to illegal construction on the Durgam Cheruvu.

The affected buildings included several high-rise residences of the chief minister’s brother Tirupati Reddy and several IAS and IRS officers.

The Durgam Cheruvu Lake is located in an upscale Hi-Tech City neighborhood with hundreds of villas.
Residents are expressing concerns about the potential demolition of their homes, which they claim were built legally.
