A total of 204 people were given notices by the revenue authorities, Serilingampally Tehsildar explained on the notices that they would take action if the structures were not removed within 30 days.

There are expensive buildings adjacent to the pond and residences of VIPs around the pond. There are houses of politicians, cinematographers, and businessmen around Durgam Cheruvu Lake. Revenue officials found that CM’s brother Tirupathi Reddy is residing in the FTL zone. The notices were also issued to Tirupati Reddy.

It seems that five retired IAS officers, the son of Satyam Ramalingaraju, Dubbaka BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, and some other VIPs were among those who gave notices. Locals say that permission was given for the construction of houses in 1996. We have been living there for years. How do you say to vacate the existing land?

On the other hand, the CM’s brother Tirupati Reddy reacted to the revenue department’s notice. He said that in 2015 he bought a residence in Amar Society. He said he did not know that this land was FTL at that time. Now the government is taking action on the lands in FTL. Tirupati Reddy said that he has no objection to whatever decision the government takes regarding his residence.
