HYDRA Stop Demolitions Amid Flood Relief, Encroachers Given Temporary Relief in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): Infuriating those who have taken up illegal constructions, HYDRA has now put a stop to the demolitions. In the background of heavy rains in the state for the last two days, many areas have been flooded, while the low-lying areas have been completely submerged. While the rains are creating havoc in Hyderabad as well, the entire HYDRA team is engaged in relief operations.

To this extent HYDRA teams are participating in monsoon relief operations in the greater area HYDRA Commissioner AV Ranganath has also entered the field and is visiting water login points and low-lying areas. They are asking about the reasons behind the submergence of the colonies, especially in the colonies around the ponds, the situation is being reviewed and the areas marked by the water level. Notices are likely to be given to the waterlogged areas after the rains recede. Notices have already been given to constructions within FTL and they are preparing to give notices to some other areas. Those who have already received notices have been issued instructions to vacate their houses within a week.
Meanwhile, it seems that HYDRA has demolished more than 200 illegal structures including Nagarjuna N Convention under HMDA, While CM Revanth Reddy has already made it clear that everyone is equal before the law, Revanth Reddy’s brother Tirupathi Reddy has served notices at his house and office.
