Telangana CM seeks Central funds for permanent flood control measures
Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy brought to the attention of the central team the damage due to floods in the state. He said that there was severe damage due to floods. In the wake of the floods, the CM asked for the release of funds as immediate aid without any conditions.

CM said that the construction of a retaining wall for Khammam Munneru River is the permanent solution for flood prevention there. The CM asked to set up a permanent fund to take permanent measures to prevent floods in the state in the future. The CM appealed to the Center to have an action plan for a permanent solution.
The Chief Minister met with the central team on flood damage assessment at the Secretariat.
