Raided Duplicate Consumer Goods Sale Shops At Begum Bazar

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (Maxim News): The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone team along with CopyRight authentication field agents and team on credible information conducted simultaneous raids at Duplicate general consumer goods sales shops.

In the limits of Begum bazaar, Erragadda, apprehended (3) respondents by the name  1) “RM General Store” proprietor by the name Ramesh Kumar Parmar, 2)“Sri Saroj Agency, proprietor by name Hitesh Pawar, and on lead raided another general store by name 3)“Sri Traders” C/o. Erragadda apprehended its proprietor Ramesh Kumar who is indulging in illegally procuring, and selling duplicate  Good Night liquid, Gold Flash Combi Pack, Lizol liquid Surface Cleaner,   Fevikwik one drop instant, etc by violating the CopyRight Act and selling through their known sources thereby misleading the innocent customers and making them believe that they are original products of the branded companies. People trust the brand for its safety features.

They seized duplicate general material worth Rs. 2 lakhs, comprising of Good Night Gold Flash Combi Pack Mosquito liquids 444 boz,  Good Night liquid coils 94 boxes, Lizol disinfectant Surface Cleaner liquid 702 plastic bottles, Fevikwik 13440 sockets.

The respondents 1) Ramesh Kumar Parmar (RM General Store”, 2) Hitesh Pawar (Sri Saroj Agency), 3) Ramesh Kumar (Sri Traders) belongs to Rajasthan State and a few years back migrated to Hyderabad, running General trading at Begum Bazar for their livelihood.    

Their meager earnings are not sufficient through their trading and hatched a plan to earn easy money illegally. In this process, they got contacts with agents who are supplying duplicate General consumer goods at low prices and indulging in illegal procuring, and selling of duplicate Good Night liquids, Coils, Lizol Surface Cleaner liquids,  Fevikwik one drop instant tubes, etc are being packed, sealing into the prominent company printed boxes form there supplying to many local stores,  wholesale and retail shops and also selling them to the customers in the market on margin price by violating Copyright Act and in cheating manner earning easy money illegally. People trust the brand for its safety features.

On reliable tip-off on 11-10-2024, the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad with Copy Right authentication field agent raided the above General shops, apprehended the above (3) respondents, and seized the above said duplicate material from shops.

The apprehension was made under the supervision of YVS. Sudheendra, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Task Force, Hyderabad, by N. Ramakrishna, Inspector of Police, SI D.Srikanth Goud, and staff of Central Zone Task Force, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
