The student was in severe pain and was taken to Korutla Hospital.  The doctors who examined the student said that she had symptoms of a snake bite.  They started treatment immediately.  The students are currently recovering.  Doctors said that they cannot say anything for another 24 to 36 hours.

Parents of students who were bitten by snakes have reached the hospital and are expressing concern that the principal and school staff are neglecting the students.  They are angry that the staff did not take any action even though a similar incident had happened in the school in the past.  They are also protesting that the teachers did not respond even when the children were in pain.  They are protesting what is the point of bringing an RMP doctor and getting them treated?  They are expressing anger that if a student tells the teacher that he has been bitten by a snake, he is advised to take fever tablets.

The parents are demanding that the teachers do not care about the students in the Gurukul.  The authorities should respond and take appropriate action against the principal and teachers.  (Maxim News)
