KTR issued a press release to this effect on Thursday. He said that they are trying to harass Errolla with illegal cases just because he is being questioned. He said that they strongly condemned the act of going to Errolla’s house in the early hours of the morning without even giving notice and terrorizing his family members.

He made comments that the Chief Minister is implementing an “Emergency” as the seventh guarantee after six guarantees were violated during Indiramma’s reign. He expressed anger that, unable to withstand the opposition rising among the people, they are trying to strangle the BRS through detention and oppression.

Errolla Srinivas’s Arrest

He said that the Congress government is completely losing control over the increasing number of crimes and is focusing all its efforts on how to control the main opposition. He demanded the immediate release of Errolla Srinivas, who was illegally arrested. He urged that the poisonous culture of trying to intimidate political opponents with false cases be put to an end.

He said that cases are not new to the BRS party, and arrests are even more so. KTR made it clear that there is no one in Telangana, who has achieved self-respect through struggles, and who is afraid of such intimidation.
