Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): A huge drug haul was seized in Telangana during the New Year celebrations.

Today morning, the police seized a huge quantity of drugs from a private travel bus at the Nallabandagudem interstate check post in Kodad mandal of Suryapet district. The Excise and Prohibition police conducted searches on the bus coming from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad as part of the daily checks of the checkpost.
In this process, the police discovered that drugs were being transported in the form of chocolates. To this extent, the police seized 1000 drug chocolate packets and sent them to the Hyderabad lab for testing. The four women and two men who were transporting the drugs were taken onto the bus and taken to the police station.

The police said that they were collecting details from the suspects. Officials said that they will reveal the full details of the case at a media conference. The seizure of large amounts of narcotics in the state during the New Year celebrations is causing a stir. The full details of the incident are yet to be known. (Maxim News)
