Hyderabad, Oct 8 (Maxim News): Telangana Minorities Commission Former Chairman Abid Rasool Khan strongly condemns the Fraud played by the present Congress Government against Muslim’s of Telangana specially the Muslim’s of Jubilee Hills Constituency which will shortly go through a By Election.
It was a long pending demand of the Muslims of Jubilee Hills Constituency who came together to form a pressure group for allotment of graveyard land which was much needed to bury the dead as there is no space left in the existing Graveyard’s.
To appease the Muslim community a land near Masjid Ghairabad, Shaikpet Mandal which was hurriedly allotted by the order of Waqf Board signed by the authorized officer Md. Saifullah itself is void as he is not authorized to sign such orders, then the said allotment also came into controversy as the Military authorities has taken over the land stating it’s their land.
To cover up this lapse another Waqf Land in Erragadda was handed over by opening an entry to which the local residents especially from Hindu Community has raised strong objections and has ended up in another controversy.
The point pertinent is that the Jubilee Hills Muslim’s have been requesting the allotment of Government land for the graveyard and the Congress government and authorities instead allotting Waqf Land which already belong to Muslim’s hence playing another fraud on the community, it is important to mention that every property of Waqf has a specific purpose for which it can be used specified by the Donor, Hence a Non-Graveyard land cannot be used for the graveyard if at all the government was keen to help the Muslim community, they should have allotted government land out of the three lands’ identified by the locals and submitted to the authorities.
Another fraud played by Congress was denying Md. Azharuddin a chance to contest again and represent the community in Assembly by announcing him as an MLC knowing very well the Governor will not approve as he is a politician being an Ex Member of Parliament.
Taking serious exception to the above Abid Rasool Khan demands that the Congress Government act in a justified manner to empower the Muslim Minority specially fulfilling the promises made by the party and Rahul Gandhi Ji in form of Muslim Declaration. (Maxim News)
