Owaisi Writes To Indian Embassy In Moscow For Hyderabadi’s Early Repatriation

Hyderabad, Oct 17 (Maxim News): AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi has written to the Embassy of India in Moscow seeking the early repatriation of Mohammed Ahmed, a Hyderabadi reportedly stuck in Russia.

According to the party, Ahmed had gone to Russia for work but is now unable to return.

On Thursday, his family members, including his wife, met Owaisi at the AIMIM headquarters, Darussalam, and requested his intervention to bring Ahmed back to Hyderabad.

In his letter, the AIMIM president urged Indian officials in Moscow to facilitate Ahmed’s safe return at the earliest. He noted the family’s account that Ahmed travelled to Russia in search of employment and is now in distress. The representation asked for immediate steps to ensure his repatriation to India.

There was a swift response from the Embassy. The Counsellor at the Indian Embassy in Moscow, Tadu Mamu, informed that the mission has shared Ahmed’s details with the Russian authorities.

The Embassy said it has sought Ahmed’s release from any military custody and requested assistance to ensure his safe return to India. Officials conveyed that the matter is being taken up for urgent action and that the family will be updated on further developments.

The family has expressed hope that the intervention will expedite Ahmed’s return. Owaisi’s office said it will continue to follow up with the authorities through official channels. (Maxim News)
