CM Revanth Reddy Urges Canada and France to Invest in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Nov 1: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged Canada and France to increase their investments in Hyderabad and across Telangana.
He met separate delegations from both countries on Saturday to discuss potential collaborations in various industrial and technological sectors.
During a meeting at his residence, Revanth Reddy requested Christopher Cooter, the High Commissioner of Canada to India, to explore investment opportunities in Telangana.
The discussions covered cooperation in IT, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, defence, and urban infrastructure. The Chief Minister explained to the Canadian delegation about the state’s flagship development projects and invited investments in startups, education, and advanced technology centres.
The meeting was attended by Karen, Ed Jäger (Canadian Minister), Vikram Jain (Trade Commissioner), and senior Telangana officials including Jayesh Ranjan, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, and Ajith Reddy.
Later, Revanth Reddy met the Consul General of France in Hyderabad, Marc Lamy, and his delegation. They reviewed the progress of ongoing French projects in the city.
The Chief Minister urged France to strengthen its Hyderabad office and expand investment in various sectors. Maud Miqua, Jayesh Ranjan, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, and Ajith Reddy also took part in the discussions. (Maxim News)
