Hyderabad, Nov 10 (Maxim News): Union Minister Kishan Reddy said that the death of renowned poet and writer Ande Sri is a great loss to the literary world. He recalled that he had the opportunity to participate with Andesri during the Telangana movement. He said that he used to participate in many meetings with him during the Poru Yatra. He recalled that they used to come to his house many times and discuss contemporary issues and politics. Kishan Reddy also said that Andesri used to give him advice.
Today (Monday), Kishan Reddy went to Ande Sri’s residence and paid tribute to his mortal remains. On this occasion, Kishan Reddy spoke to the media. He recalled his experiences with Andesri. He said that he wrote wonderful songs like ‘Mayamaipukandamma manishanna vada, Jaya Jayahe Telangana‘ during the Telangana movement. Kishan Reddy said that he inspired millions of people with his songs .
He said that the Telangana society, poets and artists are unable to digest the death of Andesri. He said that Andesri was a great personality who spoke frankly about many things. He explained that he had done a lot of research on rivers around the world with the intention of writing a book. Unfortunately, he expressed his grief that he had passed away before the book was completed.
He said that Andesri had great admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He explained that he came from a very poor and rural area. He praised him for introducing rural literature to the world and winning the hearts of the people. Union Minister Kishan Reddy said that Andesri used to think every moment about bringing about change in society and creating awareness among the people. (Maxim News)
