Police Bust International Terror Network: 7 People Including Two Doctors Arrested

Jammu/Hyderabad, Nov 10 (Maxim News) Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted an inter-state and international terror network linked to banned terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Several key suspected terrorists have been arrested in this case and a large cache of arms, ammunition and explosives has been seized.

According to the police, on October 19, posters of Jaish-e-Mohammed were put up in Bunpora and Nowgam in Srinagar warning the police and security forces. After this, the police registered an FIR and started an investigation. It was found that this network included many educated people and professionals. It was found that they were working through foreign contacts. They collected funds under the guise of social and charitable organizations.

The accused were involved in identifying people for terrorists, converting them, and procuring weapons and materials for making IEDs. Dr. Muzammil Ahmed Ganai Musaib (Pampore), and Dr. Adil (Kulgam). During the investigation, the police conducted joint searches in Srinagar, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Shopian, Faridabad, and Saharanpur. The police arrested Dr. Muzammil from Al Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana. Explosives were seized from his residence. Nearly 360 kg of ammonium nitrate and rifles were seized in Faridabad. The police identified the weapons in Faridabad based on information provided by a second doctor. (Maxim News)
