Gold Chain Snatched From Elderly Woman After Chilli Powder Attack In Jogipet
Sangareddy/Hyderabad, Nov 12 (Maxim News) Two unidentified miscreants snatched a gold chain from a 71-year-old woman after throwing chilli powder into her eyes at Satyasai Colony in Jogipet town on Wednesday, creating panic in the locality.
Police said the victim, Shankarampet Manemma, was sitting in her house when two men arrived on a motorcycle. While one waited outside, the other entered the house, threw chilli powder into her eyes, and snatched her gold mangalsutra weighing four tulas.
When her daughter tried to stop him, he pushed her aside and escaped on the bike. Both women sustained minor injuries in the incident. The duo, who were wearing helmets, fled before neighbours could react.
