Officials confirmed that the team confiscated three types of unidentified liquids, a computer, several books, an oil-making machine, and multiple documents. These items were reportedly taken for further examination by the investigating team. The searches were conducted after serving formal notices to Dr. Syed’s brother, Omar Farooqui. The police also searched another property linked to the family as part of the operation.

Speaking about the incident, Omar Farooqui said, “The Gujarat ATS police conducted searches at my house in Rajendranagar on Tuesday midnight. No searches will be conducted at my house at present. It is not true that the Gujarat police are conducting searches at my house again.” He added that the operation lasted for about one and a half hours. According to him, his brother Mohiuddin ran a shawarma business at Hotel Galaxy near Pillar No. 122 in Rajendranagar, which was also searched by the ATS during the same night.
