According to news reports, the teenagers swarmed the store before launching the violent attack. The sudden escalation left Saif badly injured. He was immediately rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment. The reports did not include further details about his medical condition. However, the focus remains on ensuring that he receives proper care and that the accused face legal action.

Meanwhile, AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi reacted to the incident and raised concerns over the safety of Indian workers abroad. He urged the Union Minister for External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar to take necessary steps. Owaisi requested the Minister “to ensure proper treatment and to coordinate with the local authorities and ensure that the accused are punished.” His appeal highlighted the need for coordinated support for the injured Hyderabad man as well as accountability for the attackers.

The incident has drawn attention to the increasing number of theft-related assaults in some parts of Australia. It also reminded many of the risks faced by workers in small retail outlets. While investigations by Australian authorities are expected to continue, the call for justice from India adds diplomatic weight to the case. For now, Saif’s recovery and the legal action against the teenagers remain the main concerns for his family and community.
