Key Decision On Indiramma Houses

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (Maxim News): Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy commented that three lakh Indiramma houses are under construction in various stages in the state. He said that one lakh houses will soon be ready for housewarming. He explained that housewarming will be completed for three lakh houses by March next year. He said that the construction of the second phase of Indiramma houses will begin by next April.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy spoke to the media at the Telangana Secretariat today (Friday). It was revealed that a plan has also been prepared for Indiramma houses in core urban areas. They said that they are planning to construct ground plus four buildings and give them to the poor. They clarified that the urban plan will be announced soon. They said that houses will be built on all sides of the ORR. They explained that 10,000 houses will be built in each place and given to the middle class people on a no-profit, no-loss basis. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy stated that the plans will be announced at the Global Summit.

He expressed deep anger that the previous KCR government had weakened the housing department. He explained that they had strengthened the housing department. He said that they were thinking of applying the Indiramma scheme to houses that had been built in the past and abandoned in the middle. He said that they would soon give good news to the poor who did not have land in rural and urban areas. He said that they would give houses in one installment and wash their hands. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy commented that the goal of their government is to give houses to all the deserving poor.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy responded to former Minister KTR’s comments on the Hilt Policy. He flagged that KTR was talking nonsense on the Hilt Policy. He said that KCR was saying that he would cancel the Hilt Policy if he came to power. He advised that it was not right for KTR to speak as he said. He said that BRS is a regional party, and did whatever they wanted during their rule. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy made it clear that his government would take very innovative decisions, and that they should do the same as during KCR’s rule. (Maxim News)
