Two-Day International Symposium at MANUU
Hyderabad, Jan 29 (Maxim News): H K Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies (HKS CDS) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing two-day International Symposium on the Networks in the Deccan.
The symposium will be opened with two keynote addresses, one by noted historian Prof. Patrick Manning and the other by leading Islamic Art Curator Dr. Navina Haidar, both from the US, in the morning of January 30.
The subject of the symposium—Networks in the Deccan—will be discussed by Prof. Rila Mukherjee of the University of Hyderabad. Dr. Shakeel Ahmad, Pro Vice-Chancellor of MANUU will preside over the event which will be introduced by HKS CDS Director, Prof Salma Ahmed Farooqui.
The inaugural session of the symposium will be held at 10-30 am on January 30 while the valedictory meeting at 2-30 pm the following day. (Maxim News)
