KLH Global Business School has recorded major sporting achievements, highlighting its strong focus on competitive sports alongside academics. The latest successes span shooting, athletics, and tennis. They also bring national and international recognition to the institution.
Among the key highlights, Dhanush Srikanth, a first year BBA student, received a nomination for the prestigious Arjuna Award for Air Rifle Shooting. This nomination reflects his consistent performances, commitment to training, and disciplined approach to the sport. Meanwhile, another BBA student, M. Venkat Rami Reddy, won the gold medal in the 800 metre running event at the Khelo India University Games 2025. The event took place in Rajasthan and featured university athletes from across the country.

Also adding to the institution’s sporting record, Mogli Venkata Ram Reddy secured a bronze medal in the 800 metre event at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championships 2025. This achievement brought international attention to the student athlete community of KLH Global Business School. Therefore, the institution’s presence extended beyond national platforms into the regional athletics arena.
The success continued in tennis at the South Zone Inter University Tennis Tournament 2025. The tournament followed a tough knockout format and included leading universities from South India. The team featured students from KLH Global Business School, along with participants from the KL Vijayawada and KLH Aziznagar campuses. In the women’s category, Muruga Sera Anjum, a third year BBA student, played a key role. Meanwhile, in the men’s category, Nashik Reddy, a third year BBA student, and Dheeraj Reddy, a second year BBA student, delivered strong performances. Their efforts resulted in one Winner position and two Runners Up finishes.
Later, officials selected all three tennis players for the All India Inter University Team and the Khelo India University Games 2026. Commenting on the overall achievements, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL Deemed to be University, said, “Inter-university competition demands sustained preparation, discipline, and mental resilience. The achievements recorded by our students—ranging from national nominations to podium finishes and team selections—reflect their commitment to excellence and their ability to balance academic responsibility with competitive sport.”
