Renuka Chowdhury Attacks NDA Government, Signals Lok Sabha Bid

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (Maxim News): Congress senior leader Renuka Chowdhury launched fresh criticism of the NDA government, accusing it of weakening welfare schemes and ignoring poor citizens.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Renuka Chowdhury’s NDA criticism focused on the alleged dilution of the national employment guarantee programme and broader governance issues. She said the Centre was deliberately undermining the employment scheme that supports rural livelihoods.

Moreover, she questioned the Prime Minister’s authority to curtail what she described as people’s legal rights. She added that public anger against the BJP government was steadily growing across the country.

Renuka Chowdhury also declared her intention to contest the next Lok Sabha elections from Khammam. Furthermore, she challenged BRS leader KTR, asking whether he had the strength to stop her victory.

During the interaction, Renuka Chowdhury’s NDA criticism also covered social debates involving women. She strongly objected to comments on women’s clothing, stating that no individual had the right to dictate personal choices. She warned that irresponsible remarks on social media would not go unanswered.

Additionally, she said any attempt to suppress women would face firm resistance. She stressed that women would respond collectively and decisively to such attitudes.
