Nandyal Bus Fire Accident Kills Three After Tyre Burst
Nandyal Bus Fire Accident | Hyderabad, Jan. 22: Three persons were burnt alive after a private bus travelling from Nellore to Hyderabad caught fire following a collision on the Allagadda Nandyal National Highway in Nandyal district late Wednesday night.
The accident occurred near Sirivella Meta when the bus reportedly lost control after a tyre burst. The vehicle hit the road divider and collided with a lorry coming from the opposite direction.
The impact triggered a massive fire, which quickly engulfed both vehicles.

All 36 passengers on the bus managed to escape before the flames spread further. However, the bus driver, the lorry driver, and the lorry cleaner were trapped inside their vehicles and died in the fire.
A passing DCM vehicle driver rushed to the spot and broke the bus window panes, helping passengers escape.
Several passengers sustained injuries and were shifted to nearby hospitals by ambulances.
Police reached the scene and began an investigation into the Nandyal bus fire accident.
Traffic on the highway was temporarily disrupted following the incident.
