Union Cabinet Approves Gade Bellur Highway

Hyderabad: The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of a four lane national highway between Gade Bellur and Mahabubnagar. The decision came during a Cabinet meeting that cleared several key proposals. The government has released Rs. 3,715 crore for the Gade Bellur Mahabubnagar highway project.

Gade Bellur Mahabubnagar Highway Gets Rs 3715 Crore

The approval of the Gade Bellur Mahabubnagar highway marks a major infrastructure decision. The Union Cabinet cleared funds amounting to Rs. 3,715 crore for the four lane national highway. This allocation aims to support construction between the two locations.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet also approved the Noida metro expansion project. An allocation of Rs. 2,254 crore has been made for the construction of an 11.6 km metro line. The government stated that the project will be completed within four years. Therefore, the metro expansion adds to the list of major infrastructure works cleared in the meeting.

Noida Metro Expansion And Railway Lines Approved

In addition to the highway and metro projects, the Cabinet announced that two new railway lines are being constructed between Delhi and Ambala. These projects form part of the broader infrastructure push discussed in the meeting.

The Union Cabinet also announced support for startups across the country. It stated that two lakh startups will be set up. An allocation of Rs. 10,000 crore has been earmarked for the Startup India fund. Moreover, the Centre is likely to provide more funds to states and municipal bodies.

The Cabinet meeting also approved the change of name of the Prime Minister’s Office. Along with this, it cleared the construction of the Noida metro line and the release of funds for the Gade Bellur Mahabubnagar four lane highway.
