Hyderabad, March 2 (Maxim News) : Partial Lunar Eclipse temple closures will take effect across Telugu states tomorrow as authorities shut major temples during the celestial event. Officials said they will close sanctum doors hours before the eclipse begins.
According to astronomical and Hindu religious practices, temples remain closed during an eclipse. After the eclipse ends, priests conduct purification rituals before reopening.

Temple committees urged devotees to plan visits carefully. Since the eclipse started in the afternoon, officials advised pilgrims to reschedule travel accordingly.
In Tirumala, authorities will also modify Annaprasadam distribution and Sarva Darshan schedules. However, priests will reopen temples only after completing purification rituals and Punyahavachanam.
Officials stated they will restore regular darshan once rituals conclude. Therefore, devotees should check official temple updates before travelling. (Maxim News)
