State government is gearing up to issue cheques to farmers under the Rythu Lakshmi (Agriculture Investment Support Scheme) commencing from April 19.
Disbursal of the cheques worth Rs 4,000 each per acre per season would be completed by May 31 to enable farmers encash their cheques and commence farming activities. Further, the government has also decided to extend the scheme to farmers who take up horticultural crops as well.
